Headshot Updated - Jay Breen.JPG

Jay Breen (she/her) 24 years old, is from the New England region. Jay has danced her whole life, exploring all styles from Ballet to Ballroom, Contemporary to Krump. At age 16, Jay was awarded a scholarship to Pace University and went on to be accepted to The Ailey Certificate Program, Point Park University, and Marymount Manhattan College where she would attend for one year. After freshman year, Jay moved back home due to a severe injury, and began teaching and choreographing throughout the New England area. Jay has choreographed two music videos for a Boston based artist and performed in several local shows and showcases.

In 2021-2022, Jay attended the inaugural year of CLI Conservatory in Western Massachusetts where she had the opportunity to connect and work with many respected industry choreographers such as: Brian Nicholson, Robert Green, Marty Kudelka, Chris Scott, Mike Tyus, Joy Brown, Noelle Marsh, Dana Wilson, Megan Lawson, Jillian Meyers, Kathryn McCormick, and many more. Jay has been given opportunities to assist a handful of these choreographers, both at the CLI conservatory and elsewhere. She's gained significant experience working on both the camera and stage. Last fall, Jay was featured in a Bose advertisement on their website. And more recently, Jay was in the opera, “Omar” in Boston, MA. Jay also completed the direction of her first concept video in May which is to be released in the late Summer/early Fall. Moving forward, Jay's goal is to continue to broaden and diversify her work experience between camera and stage.

This is Jay's third time choreographing for RIWCP.
