Dancer Application Information

Who Can Apply

We welcome applications from artists of all gender expressions and backgrounds with the legal right to work in the US. Please keep in mind that RIWCP does not provide housing for out of state participants.

Selection Process
The Selection Process

RIWCP contracts 15-20 dancers yearly for our 3-week residency, depending on the needs of the choreographer cohort.  Choreographers are supplied with a list of dancer applicants and movement samples so that they may request specific dancers. The final selection of dancers and casting decisions are made by RIWCP’s Director. Dancer acceptance relies heavily on the style of dance and schedule of the participating choreographers of any given year.
